How does mobile clock-in work?
The worker opens Roster Hub on their phone and sees today's shift. When the shift's time window opens, they tap Clock in — the app records the time and a location snapshot, tracks any breaks, and on Clock out the completed shift flows straight into a timesheet for manager approval. No kiosks, codes or paper.
How can businesses reduce missed clock-ins?
Make clocking in easier than forgetting it, and make gaps visible the same morning. Does Roster Hub track workers' location all day?
No. Roster Hub takes a location snapshot at clock-in and clock-out to confirm the shift happened where it should — it does not track movement during or outside shifts.
What if a worker forgets to clock in?
The shift is flagged on the manager dashboard as scheduled-but-not-clocked-in. The worker can add the missed time with a note, and the manager approves the correction — visible in the record.
Can workers add notes during a shift?
Yes. Shift notes, incident reports and kilometre claims are all captured in the app during or right after the shift, attached to the shift record.
Does the time clock work on iPhone?
